6 Years no claims bonuses not accepted on my next car.?

I built up 5 years no claims bonuses on my car and then purchased a van. The insurance company readily accepted my 5 years and now I have just sold my van and bought a car. When I shop around for insurance I have been turned down by most insurers because they do not accept N.C.D. from a commercial policy. The only 2 that do accept it are very expensive. Can someone please point me in the right direction.
Unfortunately I cannot use the 5 years I earned on the car policy as it is over 2 years old.

yes unfortunately this often the case..they will turn private car to commercial but are reluctant to change back!!The best thing to do is call a local broker, they deal with companies that will do this!!I myself work in the insurance industry and i do no that if the agent tries hard enough they can pretty much do anything for you!!Brokers deal with companies that the general market do not, im sure you will get sorted this way

Question quote car insurance?

When I try to get a quote for cars on either Tesco or direct, he said they cannot give me a quote and need it to ring them. In addition, the custom browser let me go back, then they make you close the window and hit another quote all over again! Why do they do? The car I want to assure a Nissan Navara D22. I guess its because his utility vehicle and they want to check if it be used for commercial purposes. I'm 18 and I had my driver's license for one year, and I am the driver named on the policy, my father being the main factor that has over 30 years NCB! I managed to get a quote for a new Navara, D22 and not the version that was about £ 1990. How do you think the D22 will be? Do you think they could be classified as a truck and I was not sure because im under 21?

Try Quickfit, they do large commercial vehicle insurance, what time of the month is a good time for sure, because they are all chasing their premiums, got mine estimate reduced by almost 30% if I signed before the end of man `s team.
