Do I need special insurance to drive through New York for in a 15 passenger van?
We’re planning a trip to Lowell, Ma from Philadelphia, Pa in August. Our vehicle of preference would be a 15 passenger van. Upon calling and getting some quotes, they’re telling us that New York law requires liability insurance covering $5 million for vehicles that carry over a certain amount of passengers.
